Silymarin CF is a vitamin C serum specifically formulated for oily and blemish-prone skin. This serum combines 15% pure L-ascorbic acid, 0.5% ferulic acid, 0.5% salicylic acid, and 0.5% silymarin to provide environmental protection while combating the visible signs of aging. Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
Directions
In the morning after cleansing and toning, apply 4-5 drops of [Silymarin](/ingredients/silymarin) CF to a dry face, neck, and chest before other skincare products. Gently press into skin on the face, neck, and decolletage (may also be used on tops of hands). Follow with any other skincare products and sunscreen. All SkinCeuticals antioxidant formulations have been tested in final packaging and have been confirmed to remain stable and effective for 36 months, and up to 6 months after opening. L-ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C) is known to change color with time, however oxidation is minimal in SkinCeuticals antioxidant and the formulation is proven to remain effective.
