Obagi Nu-Derm Clear contains 4% hydroquinone (prescription strength) as the active ingredient in an activating base to increase its effectiveness. Directions for Use
A thin application of Obagi Clear should be applied to the affected area twice daily or as directed by a physician. Apply Obagi Clear to the entire face, morning and evening, avoiding the eyelids, extending to the hairline, over the ears and ending with a feathering motion from the jaw line down the neck. A second coat can be applied over darker pigmented lesions.
Safety Information
Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or lips. In case of accidental contact, patient should rinse eyes, nose, mouth, or lips with water and contact physician. Sunscreen use is an essential aspect of hydroquinone therapy because even minimal sunlight exposure sustains melanocytic activity.
