Profhilo® Structura is an advanced injectable treatment specifically designed to address age-related volume loss, facial hollowing, and tissue descent. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which add volume to specific areas, Profhilo® Structura is designed to improve the quality and support of the superficial fat compartments of the face. How it works

Facial ageing occurs through several processes, including:

Pre-treatment advice

Photographs may be taken as part of your clinical assessment and treatment planning.

Post-treatment advice

After treatment:

• Avoid touching the treated areas for several hours
• Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours
• Avoid excessive heat, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
• Follow all aftercare instructions provided

Small injection-site swellings may be visible initially and usually settle within a few days.

Side-effects & complications

Profhilo® Structura is generally very well tolerated.

Common (temporary):

• Mild swelling
• Redness
• Tenderness
• Bruising
• Small injection-site bumps

Less common:

• Prolonged swelling
• Localised inflammation
• Temporary asymmetry during healing

Rare:

• Infection
• Allergic reaction
• Delayed inflammatory response
• Vascular complications (extremely rare with appropriate technique)
