Juvium® Non-Ablative Fractional Laser Facial

Dr Martyn King | Cosmedic Skin Clinic | Staffordshire

The Juvium® Laser Facial is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment that uses non-ablative fractional erbium laser technology to improve skin texture, tone, radiance, and overall skin quality with minimal downtime.

Unlike traditional ablative laser resurfacing, which removes the surface layers of skin, the Juvium® platform creates thousands of microscopic treatment zones within the skin while leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This stimulates the body's natural healing response, encouraging collagen production, skin renewal, and tissue remodelling without significant disruption to the skin surface.

The treatment is ideal for patients seeking noticeable skin rejuvenation, improved texture, and collagen stimulation without the recovery associated with more aggressive laser treatments.

How it works

The Juvium® platform utilises fractional non-ablative erbium laser technology to deliver controlled energy into the skin.

Fractional Laser Technology: The laser creates microscopic columns of thermal stimulation within the skin while leaving surrounding tissue unaffected. These untreated areas accelerate healing and minimise downtime.

Collagen Stimulation: The controlled thermal effect stimulates fibroblasts to produce:

  • New collagen
  • New elastin
  • Improved extracellular matrix support

This helps improve skin firmness, elasticity, and texture over time.

Skin Renewal: As the skin repairs itself, damaged cells are replaced by healthier new skin, resulting in:

  • Improved skin tone
  • Smoother texture
  • Enhanced radiance
  • Reduction in visible signs of ageing

Progressive Improvement: Results continue to develop for weeks after treatment as collagen remodelling occurs naturally.
