Dermal Filler
Dermal Fillers
Dr Martyn King | Cosmedic Skin Clinic | Staffordshire
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments designed to restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, improve symmetry, and soften deeper lines and folds. Most modern dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found within the skin that attracts and retains moisture.
When performed by an experienced medical practitioner, dermal filler treatments can provide subtle, natural-looking rejuvenation while maintaining facial harmony and expression.

How it works
Dermal fillers work by restoring volume beneath the skin, improving facial contours and supporting areas affected by age-related volume loss. Hyaluronic acid fillers also attract water, helping to improve hydration and skin quality.
Following a detailed consultation and facial assessment, carefully selected filler products are placed into specific areas using fine needles and/or cannulas. Treatment plans are tailored to each patient's facial structure, aesthetic goals, and natural proportions.
Results are visible immediately, although some swelling and minor bruising may occur during the first few days.
What areas can be treated
Dermal fillers can be used to treat and enhance a variety of facial areas, including:

- Cheeks
- Chin
- Jawline
- Nasolabial folds (nose-to-mouth lines)
- Marionette lines (mouth-to-chin lines)
- Temples
- Tear troughs (selected patients)
- Nose reshaping (Non-surgical rhinoplasty)

- Non-surgical facial contouring and rejuvenation

Advice from Dr Martyn King
Dr Martyn King, Cosmedic Skin Clinic, Staffordshire
"Successful dermal filler treatment is about enhancing facial harmony rather than simply adding volume. Every face is unique, and treatment should respect natural anatomy, proportions, and movement. My aim is always to create balanced, elegant results that look refreshed and natural rather than overfilled or artificial."
